How to check a Zimbabwe casino licence claim
Zimbabwe regulates lotteries and gaming through the LGB, but the current public locator does not expose exact website domains. That gap shapes every verdict here.
The exact-domain check
- Write down the full domain, including look-alike spelling.
- Identify the legal operator named in current terms.
- Search the LGB operator locator for the operator name and type.
- Require a current primary source that connects that operator to that exact domain.
- If only the name, premises or a self-published number is available, keep the result amber.
What the legislation supports
The Lotteries and Gaming Act [Chapter 10:26] establishes the Board and regulates licensed gaming. The public text does not by itself prove that a modern website belongs to a particular licensee.
What not to infer
A .co.zw domain, local phone number, EcoCash logo, shop address, advert, influencer post or certificate image is not enough for green. An inaccessible site is not automatically blocked or illegal.
Current record limit
As checked on 22 August 2026, the LGB locator displayed names, operator types, addresses, cities and provinces. It did not publish exact domains. No public official domain blocklist was located in the configured primary sources.
